Technology consulting that ends in a plan you can act on

When you know something has to change but not what to build, buy or retire, we help you decide — with people who design, build and support software for a living, so the advice is practical to deliver.

Sound familiar?

  • 01Several systems, spreadsheets and paper processes that no longer add up to one picture of the organisation.
  • 02A transformation plan that lists tools but not how work will actually change, or what it will cost.
  • 03Vendors proposing very different solutions, and no neutral way to compare them.
  • 04A project that stalled because nobody wrote down what “done” looks like.

What we do

  • Technology strategy

A clear view of where you are, where you need to be and the sequence of steps between — prioritised by value and risk.

  • Process analysis

We map how work really flows between people and systems, find where it breaks, and design the workflow before anyone writes code.

  • Requirements discovery

Structured workshops that turn needs into written requirements, user journeys and acceptance criteria a team can build against.

  • Build, buy or integrate

An honest comparison of off-the-shelf products, custom software and integration — including our own products where they fit, and saying so when they don’t.

  • Vendor and architecture review

A second opinion on a proposal, a system design or a struggling project, with specific recommendations.

What you get

  • Current-state and target-state map
  • Prioritised roadmap with costed phases
  • Requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Build / buy / integrate recommendation

Every engagement runs in short increments: you see working software regularly, scope changes are agreed before they are made, and handover includes documentation and training. How we work.

Questions we often hear

Do we have to build with you after a consulting engagement?

No. The roadmap and requirements are yours, written so any competent team can deliver them. Many clients do continue with us, but the advice does not depend on it.

How long does a discovery engagement take?

It depends on scope. A focused discovery for one process is typically a few weeks; an organisation-wide strategy takes longer. We agree the scope and timeline before we start.

Will you recommend your own products?

Only where they genuinely fit, and we will tell you when they don’t. Our job in consulting is to find the right answer, not to sell a product.
